I have focused my career within SEN and worked as a Teacher, Assistant Head and Principal of a private therapeutic school for children and young people with Autism and communication difficulties along my journey.

Passionate about fostering access, engagement, and progress for all students, I am an experienced SEN teacher and leader, dedicated to creating therapeutic learning environments where every child can thrive. With a focus on supporting students' wellbeing, I integrate playful and fun teaching methods to ensure learning is both enjoyable and effective. Drawing inspiration from nature, I believe in the power of outdoor education and hands-on experiences to promote holistic development. My commitment is to provide a safe, nurturing space where students feel valued and understood, paving the way for their personal and academic success. 

As a qualified teacher with extensive experience as a senior leader in both therapeutic specialist and mainstream educational settings, I’m deeply passionate about empowering children and young people to reach their full potential. I believe in delivering academic teaching and learning through meaningful and functional contexts, making education relevant and engaging for every learner. My approach focuses on nurturing all areas of a child's development, ensuring that they thrive both inside and outside the classroom. It’s incredibly rewarding to witness students flourish and achieve their goals, inspiring me every day to continue supporting their journeys.
